A day in the life of an Ancient Egyptian farmer

We were thinking about what life as an Ancient Egyptian farmer might have been like. We used the picture from a previous blog post and discussed the types of jobs they did.  We chose a job each and wrote about a day in the life of that farmer.

Ancient Egyptian Farming Picture

This is the farming picture that I sent home for homework the other day. I think it is a much clearer picture for you to look.  What do you think the jobs are that they are doing?

Questions to think about:

What might it have been like to have done one of these jobs? 

Which job would want to have done and why?

How do you think these jobs have changed?

Our Music Movie Maker Projects

Last term, we did lots of work on music. We made musical instruments and wrote instructions to go with them. We also evaluated what we did, thinking about how we would do it differently if we were to make them again.
