Descriptive settings

We have been writing some super sentences to see how descriptive we can be with describing a setting.
We all had different photos, so our sentences will be different.


All over the black treasure box there were white skulls.

I see that the birds have got a pink shiny present.

Later on this week, we will be developing our sentence ideas in to paragraphs to describe a setting.

  5. We discussed interesting verbs and adjectives before hand and modeled some examples, but what is written here is then what they came up with by themselves in the lesson.

    They did a great job and I like how some of them tried to use similes too. Not all of the sentences are included here though.
