Making a lava lamp

We had a great Science Day today.  Everyone went to different teachers to do different activities.  Those who came to my group made lava lamps (or bubbles in a bottle).  We might try this in class on Friday, but you will need to bring another small bottle in!

When all of the photos have been taken off the cameras, I will put some on the blog to share.

Resources tab

I have put a resources tab at the top where you can find some resources for our Environment topic.
There is also a folder with some English resources too that Miss. Soo has done.
Happy learning!

Don't be a bystander!

This week is anti-bullying week and today we are all dressed in blue.
Our assembly was all about what happens when people are bullied.  We have been talking about what a 'by-stander' is and what we can do to help if someone is being bullied.

Katelyne made this fantastic poster and brought it in this morning to share with everyone.

These are just some of the good things we notice about what we and other people do.

What are you going to do today to be kind?

Mapping games

Today in ICT, we played a game to learn about making maps.  This is the game we played:

If you enjoyed playing this game, you could also try the one - it's a bit harder though as you have to earn money before you can build things!

Happy building!
